No animal should be left abandoned or left to suffer and that is very true of the toy breed Pomeranian. A good vet is essential to the survival of any abandoned or abused pet so make sure that the rescue centre you are dealing with has a relationship with a good vet that can get the pet the medical attention it needs. Without a vet there is not much a rescue centre can do so make sure that they have a vet available to them that can help the little dogs survive.

Word of mouth is the best kind of advertising and if you are looking to find out if a Pomeranian rescue centre is good at what they do or not one of the things you can do is ask around and see if they have a reputation in the community and what that reputation may be. To say you are a Pomeranian rescue centre is a great thing but if you have a reputation of doing a very poor job then that really does not help the situation at all. Sometimes the best Pomeranian rescue centre is a local Pomeranian breeder. Many reputable breeders will take in abused and abandoned pets to nurse them back to health and help them find a new home. All you need to do is make sure that you are getting the dog into a situation that is going to make their journey better and not worse.
