It will be on their faces and forelegs to start on the puppies. The paws of older dogs is usually the place affected.

A pet having a weakened immune system is how the mange is able to take hold. The mites are parasites that are normally found on the skin anyway. Very young dogs and older, ill dogs are those usually affected. Do not try to diagnose mange for your pet. Be sure to get them to a doctor. There are other diseases that can seem similar. The veterinarian will do various test to be sure of what your pet may have.
